Who We Are
Here at our church, we understand that life isn’t always as cut and dry, plain and simple, or picture-perfect as you may have hoped. Our church provides you with a loving community so that you can grow in Christ through all of the ups and downs life may throw your way.
Our pastor, Hunter Whiddon grew up in a Christian home in Valdosta, Georgia. At the age of 13, he put his trust in Jesus as his Savior and surrendered to be a pastor at 19. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from the Norris Bible Baptist Seminary where he met his wife, Stephanie. They were married in 2017 and they now have a beautiful daughter, Bethany Elise.
Hunter and Stephanie have been ministering in Haltom City, Texas at Beacon Baptist Church since May of 2022. The Church is a wonderful congregation that has been established for more than 80 years. It is Hunter’s desire to lead the family of Beacon Baptist Church to: Love Jesus & Others Connect With People Grow In Christ Serve Together Unified
